πŸ“– Introduction

In the middle of the novel, the creature meets Victor again in the mountains. It is angry, but it also wants to be understood. So it tells Victor its own story – the story of a β€œchild” that nobody ever loved. While it lived in the forest, it found a poor family, the De Laceys, and watched them through a hole in the wall. From them it learned everything: language, reading, and what a happy family looks like. It even read famous books like Milton's Paradise Lost. The creature was not born evil. Read on and find out what changed it.
